Emogene Swanson turned 100 years old on April 10, 2012. She resides at the Frewsburg Rest Home.
She is still active at the home, playing bingo twice a week and going to exercise each morning, plus taking her walks.
Her birthday was celebrated at the WJTN Breakfast Club, held at Friendly's restaurant, with several friends and family members in attendance.

Emogene was also surprised with cake and coffee at the Frewsburg Rest Home. Both cakes were made by her great-niece, Jeannine Sikora.
Everyone that knows Emogene loves her. She always has a smile and gets along so well with each and every person. Her family and friends wish her the very best and are so thankful for her wisdom over the years.
