Carol and Herb Johnson of Jamestown, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Alicia Marie Speta, to Matthew Donald Johnson, the son of Paula Gustafson of Gerry, N.Y., and Steven Johnson of Lakeland, Fla. He is also the grandson of Wallace Cheney of Gerry, N.Y.
Miss Speta is a 2002 graduate of Jamestown High School and a 2011 graduate of Jamestown Business College with an associate degree in hospitality management. She is employed by Applebee's in Lakewood, N.Y. Her fiance is a 2002 graduate of Falconer High School and is employed by Painting Unlimited of Jamestown.
A July 14, 2012, wedding is planned.
