Butler — Lyon

Meryl C. Lyon and Michael W. Butler exchanged wedding vows on July 16, 2011, at Falconer United Methodist Church. Pastor Chad Sayers performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Patricia Lyon of Jamestown, N.Y. Her husband is the son of Timothy Butler of Ashville, N.Y., and Mary Butler of Busti, N.Y. He is also the grandson of Glen and Nancy Butler of Frewsburg, N.Y.

The bride's gown was an A-line strapless dress with an antique ivory lace coat and chapel-length train.

Rhonda Sample, Renee Kent, Melissa Lyon and Janice Butler were matrons of ceremony. Bridesmaids were Heather Kent, Kara Sample and Emily Kent.

Groomsmen were Shawn Sample, Andrew Blakey and Seth Boardman. Ushers were Sandy Lombardo, Randall Kent, Brian Lyon and Timothy Wickmark.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Jamestown High School, a 2007 graduate of the State University at Fredonia with a Bachelors of Science in education and a 2010 graduate of Liberty University with a Master of Education. She is employed as a fourth-grade teacher at Bowling Green Elementary School, Bowling Green, Va. Her husband is 2002 graduate of Jamestown High School and earned an associate degree in 2011 in network security from ECPI University, where he is a member of the National Technical Honor Society. He is employed as a network engineer by Technology Assurance Group Inc. of Virginia.

They are living in Henrico, Va.
