Breakfast Begins
BEMUS POINT - The Thule Lodge, 4123 Pancake Hill Road, Bemus Point, will hold its first pancake breakfast of the season from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Tickets may be purchased at the door. The breakfast is the start of a new season of events for the Swedish lodge. The Thule Lodge serves to preserve the Swedish heritage through events and activities, and welcomes new members.
Outdoor Club To Hike Sunday
On Sunday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike a 5-mile section of the North Country Trail in the Allegheny National Forest from Vandergriff Road to FR 116. Participants for the shuttle hike will meet at Musante Street in Warren at 1:30 p.m. For more information, call Jim Houghtling at 814-723-1654. The Allegheny Outdoor Club has a wide selection of upcoming events, including kayak camping on the Allegheny Reservoir and on Tionesta Creek, weekly bicycle rides and hikes. Library System Board To Meet
The Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Library System board will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Darwin R. Barker Library, 7 Day St., Fredonia. The public is invited to attend.
Build A Barrell Contest To Start
CARROLL - The Town of Carroll Garden Club will host its second annual Build a Barrel contest. Participants supply the flowers and maintain their creation throughout the summer season. Barrels and boxes will be assigned on a first-come basis. To sign up and for a map of where the barrels will be located, visit the Myers Memorial Library. JCC Releases Summer Schedule
Jamestown Community College's summer 2012 master schedule of credit courses is now available. The schedule outlines day and evening courses as well as online learning opportunities at JCC's Jamestown and Cattaraugus County campuses and North County and Warren centers. Legion Breakfast Set For Sunday
CELORON - The Herman Kent American Legion Post 777 breakfast committee will hold its monthly breakfast at the post Sunday, April 15. Breakfast will include the post's full buffet of eggs, home fries, sausage, ham, french toast, sausage, gravy and danish or the post's three-egg omelet for $5 a person. Hours are 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Harmony Board Sets Next Meeting
