Jamestown Area Senior Center members are reminded that Senior Wellness Day, held in Emeritus at Lakewood, will be from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18. More than 30 organizations will be participating. Those attending will receive a free takeout meal with registration.
The next meeting will be a tureen on Tuesday, April 24. Seniors should take their own table service.
Shirley Vandenburg opened a recent meeting, attended by 40 seniors. Discussion was on blood pressure clinics which will be held at 11 a.m. once a month, vouchers for the fundraiser at Friendly's restaurant and Senior Wellness Day.
Future trips are to Ohio on May 23, with the balance due by April 24; the Gateway Clipper in Pittsburgh, July 23; and a train ride in Medina, Oct. 17. Standbys are accepted for the Aug. 22 trip.
Janet Wahlberg presented a program on the dedication of the World War II memorial.
