The town of Poland Seniors will meet for an Easter lunch, catered by 3C's Catering, on Wednesday, April 18, in the Kennedy Fire Hall. Reservations are required; contact Shirley Covey at 665-5991. Bob and Sally Canniff, Cliff and Liz Barnes, Val Nunn and Marilyn Johnson are the committee. Election of officers will be held.
Jim and Joyce Beightol, Mr. and Mrs. Barnes, Shirley Schauers, and Mary Radspinner were the committee when 42 members met recently. Eva Baker gave table grace, called tables with Ms. Covey, presided and led in the flag salute and song, accompanied by Lou Ball on piano. Reports by the secretary and treasurer were approved as read.
A moment of silent prayer was held in memory of deceased members.
Celebrating birthdays were Ms. Covey, Carolyn Widmark, Val Nunn, Jean Houston and Betty Willover.
Ms. Canniff spoke on future trips.
Entertainment included humorous readings by Donna Cross.
