James and Rhonda Maynard of Ashville, N.Y., celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on March 14, 2012, in Columbia, S.C., by attending their son Timothy's graduation from the Army Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, and with a family dinner hosted by their other two children, Dayna (Adam) Chambers and Jeffrey Maynard. They also have five grandchildren: Jordyn Maynard, Troy and Jayne Chambers, and Kyle and Isabelle Maynard.
Maynard and the former Rhonda VanEvery were married on March 14, 1987, in the First Baptist Church of Sherman. Pastor Paul Sears performed the ceremony.
