Charles and Lisa Hollis of Jamestown announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda, to Alan Wescott, the son of Lionel and Mary of Ashville.
Miss Hollis is a 2009 graduate of Jamestown High School, earned an associate degree in human services in 2011 from Jamestown Community College, and a pursuing a degree in social work from the State University at Fredonia. Her fiance is a 2007 graduate of Panama Central School and a 2009 graduate of Jamestown Community College. He is employed as an electricians apprentice for the IBEW Local 106 Jamestown.
An Oct. 6, 2012, wedding is planned.
