No Drumming In Lily Dale Thursday

LILY DALE - There will be no drumming Thursday at the World Drum Beat Circle in Lily Dale. The circle will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 5, in Assembly Hall, home of The Church of the Living Spirit on Cleveland Avenue, located at the corner of Cleveland and Library streets. The facilitator is George Clees. The public is welcome to attend. Some drums are available for use during the evening. Meetings are the first, third and fifth Thursdays of each month. Mayville Board To Hold Meeting

MAYVILLE - The Mayville Village Board will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Mayville Community Building. The board will review bids for fire apparatus, award a bid and review wages. The public is welcome to attend.

Senior Report To Host Spanos

Senior Report with Reed Powers will have MaryAnn Spanos as the guest on Saturday's program. Spanos is the director of the Chautauqua County Office for the Aging. The live, call-in program airs from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday morning. Individuals may call 753-5225 during that time with questions or comments. The program is rebroadcast each day at 2 and 8 p.m. for some communities. Reed Powers, host of Senior Report, has been producing the television program since 1995. The series highlights senior citizen club news for 15 minutes with the remainder of the hour-long program devoted to the featured guest. The guest is subject to change. Senior Report is shown live on Saturday mornings on Time Warner cable systems covering the following communities: Brocton, Cassadaga, Chautauqua, Fredonia, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Ripley, Sherman, Stockton and Westfield on Channel 5. In Dunkirk, Forestville, Hanover, Irving and Silver Creek the program is on channel 19. The show originates at the Access Channel 5 studio in Mayville.

Church To Hold Dinner and Movie

CASSADAGA - The Cassadaga Community Baptist Church, 25 Maple Ave., Cassadaga, will hold a free dinner and movie night Friday in the church fellowship hall. The dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and the movie "Dolphin Tale" will follow at 7 p.m. The dinner and movie are free and is open to the public.

Gerry To Hold Easter Egg Hunt

GERRY - The town of Gerry will hold its annual Easter egg hunt at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Gerry Town Park.

Fishing Assoc. To Hold Meat Party

The Chautauqua Lake Fishing Assoc., in Celoron, will hold a meat party Saturday at 6 pm. Items include hams, prime rib, steak and shrimp. The public is welcome.
