Golden Agers Plan Spring Dinner At Miley’s

The Busti-Golden Agers will meet for a spring dinner, catered by Miley's, at 12:30 p.m. April 17 in the Busti Fire Hall. The cost is $5 per person. Payment is currently being accepted and should be made to Connie Whitman. Trip payment of $82 is also due. Eivor Kellor, Ruth Franklin, Joanne Osman and Jean Anderson are the committee.

Members met for lunch recently in the Lakewood Rec Center. Lunch was provided by Ladies of emeritus. Theresa Perrin, president, opened the meeting with a flag salute, songs and prayer. Reports by Pennie Harvey, secretary and Mrs. Osman, treasurer, were approved as read. The yearly was completed. Books were correct and the report placed in file.

Jesse Robbins, town supervisor, presented a $1,000 donation to the club.

Richard Anderson stated 60 packages of coupons have been to those in the military.

Future events were discussed. A senior wellness clinic, with Emeritus, will be from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on April 18. A free bag lunch will be provided for those who register. Senior Trivia, sponsored by the Chautauqua County Senior Council, will be at 1 p.m. May 10 in the Stow Harmony Senior Center. Teams of two to three members from each county senior club are required. Celebrating birthdays were Janice Anderson, Richard Anderson, Ms. Osman and Robert Whitman.
