Haight To Play This Weekend
Cindy (Love) Haight will perform acoustically from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m. at the Ellicottville Brewery in Fredonia on Friday. On Saturday, she'll perform acoustically from 9 p.m. until midnight at Steener's Pub in Greenhurst.
Dinner Set In Randolph
RANDOLPH - The South County Storm All-Stars are sponsoring an all-you-can-eat pasta and salad dinner from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at Oregano's Restaurant, 143 Main St., Randolph. Dinner includes a pasta buffet featuring a variety of pastas and sauces, garden salad, bread and butter, beverage and dessert. There will also be a Chinese auction throughout the day. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children between the ages of 6 and 12. Children under 5 are admitted free. Pre-sale tickets are available at Oregano's Restaurant or by calling Diane Ringer at 679-8114. Proceeds will help the teams with their trip to compete at the U.S. Finals in Virginia Beach on May 5-6.
Masonic Lodge To Host Dinner
FREWSBURG - The Carroll Masonic Lodge, 257 Warren Road, Frewsburg, will host a spaghetti dinner from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Dinners include salad, bread, dessert and coffee. Take-out dinners are available. Dinners are $8 for adults and $5 for children. All proceeds will benefit the Carroll Lodge Scholarship.
Bridge Closure Begins Monday
Chautauqua County Bridge 1079 on Sprague Street, between Steele Street and Second Street, Jamestown, will be closed to all traffic starting Monday so the bridge can be replaced. A detour will be posted.
Bemus Point To Host Registration
BEMUS POINT - Bemus Point Elementary School will hold a 2012-13 parent meeting for its universal pre-kindergarten program at 7 p.m. Tuesday and for kindergarten at 7 p.m. Thursday. Both meetings will be in the school cafeteria. Anyone attending must be a legal resident of the district to participate in either program. For universal pre-kindergarten, a child must turn 4 before Dec. 1, 2012. Registration for universal pre-kindergarten will be April 16-27 in the elementary school office. For kindergarten, a child must turn 5 before Dec. 1, 2012. Any child who turns 6 on or before Dec. 1 is required to be enrolled in school. Boosters To Host Spaghetti Dinner
The Maple Grove Music and Softball Boosters are holding a Spaghetti Dinner today and Saturday, from 5-7 p.m. each day in the high school cafeteria. Tickets are $5. A meal includes a salad, rolls, spaghetti and meatballs, desserts and drinks. Take-outs are available. It will be preceding the musical, "Les Miserables."
