4-H Benefit Auction Today

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County's 4-H Program is holding a fundraiser for St. Patrick's Day weekend. Greg Himes of Himes Auction Co. is donating his time and talents for a 4-H Benefit Auction, today at 5 p.m. at the Frewsburg Fireman's Grounds. Events include an auction with a variety of items and 4-H baked goods. For more details or to donate items, contact Greg Himes at 499-1418.

Installation To Be Held Sunday

Members of Faith Bible Chapel, 117 Jamestown St. in Randolph are having an installation service at 10 a.m. Sunday for their new pastor, Ricky Beck. Pastor Beck and his wife, Laurie, moved to Randolph with their three young daughters. He is a graduate of South Eastern Baptist University in Wake Forest, N.C. He recently received his M. Div. from the master's seminary in Sun Valley, Calif. He and his wife are natives of the Gainesville, Fla., area. Dr. Gregory Harris, Pastor Beck's close friend and mentor from California, will be in attendance. Dr. Harris is a professor of Bible Exposition at the Master's seminary where Dr. John MacArthur is the seminary president.

Tree Orders Being Taken

The Cattaraugus County Soil & Water Conservation District is still accepting orders for the 2012 spring tree and shrub bare root seedling sale. Several species of conifers, hardwoods, shrubs and berries are available, as well as assortment packets for reforestation and wildlife. Orders are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until March 31. Seedlings will be distributed in April. To receive an order form, contact the Conservation District office at 699-2326.

Fredonia H.S. To Present Musical

FREDONIA - Fredonia High School will present "Fiddler on the Roof" at 7:30 p.m. March 23-24 and March 30-31. Tickets are available at the Book Nook in the D&F Plaza. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for students and senior citizens.

Meeting To Be Held In Randolph

RANDOLPH - A joint meeting of the Randolph Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning Board will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Randolph Municipal Building. The public is welcome to attend.

Monthly Library Movie To Air

FREWSBURG - The Myers Memorial Library will show its free monthly movie at 3 and 6 p.m. Wednesday. The library will show the movie "Puss in Boots," rated PG. The movie is shown in the community room. Those attending are free to bring a chair cushion. Monthly movies are sponsored by the Frewsburg Pharmacy.

Sewer District Board To Meet

CELORON - The South and Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer Districts administrative board will meet at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Water Pollution Control Facility in Celoron. The public is welcome to attend.
