Harmony Seniors Invited To Attend Musical

Harmony Senior Citizens are invited to the dress rehearsal for the musical ''Guys and Dolls'' presented by Panama Central School at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 22. There is no charge to attend.

The seniors will meet April 5. Clara Ranson, Janet and Lyle Walker, Sandy Whitford, Ruth Smouse, Ellen and Melvin Lord are the lunch committee. Payment for the May soup and sandwich lunch and also the May 23 trip to Lion Safari in Canada will be collected.

Pauline Edsall welcomed seniors to a recent lunch meeting, gave a reading, led in prayer and a flag salute.

Celebrating birthdays were Mary Beers, Martha Chapman, Ellen Caffaro, Charles Ellis, Martha Gleason, Arlene LaBarbera, Carl Martin, Cherry Potter, Wendie Raynor, Jane Stahl and Janet Walker. Keith and Cindy Miller celebrated their wedding anniversary.

A musical program was presented by members of the Revolution Church of Jamestown.

Rosalie Logue, president, presided at the business meeting. Cards were sent to ill members. Discussion was on the March 27 health care for diabetics event from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Bayfront Center in Erie.

Dottie Enlow, trip chairwoman, spoke on future trips including African Lion Safari in Canada with payment made no later than May 3. Travelers will need a passport, passport card or enhanced driver's license.

Ellen Caffaro spoke on the United Senior Council and stated that teams of four people from each senior council are needed to play in a trivia bowl game on May 10. The next meeting is May 8.
