Paul and Helen Burch of Jamestown, N.Y., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Jan, 23, 2012. They are the parents of Kathy Swanson of Frewsburg, N.Y., Julie Valentine of Osage, Okla., and Lisa Lauffenburger of Warren, Pa. They also have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
They were married Jan. 23, 1952, in the parsonage of the First Baptist Church of Frewsburg, N.Y.
Burch is a veteran of the Korean War, and was employed by Carborundum and Blackstone Corp. The couple owned the Paperback Exchange in Jamestown, N.Y., and Ivory General Store near Frewsburg, N.Y.
