Audie L. Dickerson, 49, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and open container of alcohol Tuesday at 10:10 a.m. Officers responded to the area of East Second Street after a report of a reckless operator that nearly hit a building. The vehicle was pulled over by the Ellicott Police Department on East Fourth Street at Church Street. According to police, Dickerson was found to be driving and intoxicated. She was taken into custody and taken to the city jail pending arraignment.
Edward Christensen III, no age reported, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance Tuesday at 8:05 a.m. According to police, Christensen was seen standing in front of a home in the 200 block of Willard Street. Police say a valid warrant was open for him, and he was taken into custody. When searching him, he allegedly had two hydrocodone pills for which he did not have a prescription. He was taken into custody and held pending arraignment.
Zachery A. Evans, no age given, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment on Sunday. According to police, Evans sent several text messages to a woman in which he threatened bodily harm and to have another person cause her harm. He was issued an appearance ticket to Ellicott Town Court later.
Dale A. Lowery, 49, of Falconer-Frewsburg Road, Frewsburg, was charged with failure to keep right, DWI and aggravated DWI Saturday at 6:10 a.m. on South Work Street in Falconer. According to police, Lowery was found passed out at the wheel with the vehicle still running. The vehicle was off the road and came to rest on a curb. He was taken into custody and will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
Rodney Brit, 42, of Celoron was charged with endangering the welfare of a child on Friday. Officers responded to the Southwestern High School to investigate a possible case of child endangerment. According to police, Brit was making little to no attempt to keep his 15-year-old daughter's attendance up at school. He had allegedly been advised by the school, Child Protective Services and probation about his child's absenteeism, which was about 25 percent. He was issued an appearance ticket to Ellicott Town Court later.

ELLICOTT - Thomas C. Taylor, 23, of Lakewood was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana Monday at 7:45 p.m. on Route 60 in Ellicott. He was issued an appearance ticket.
FRENCH CREEK - Leslie Kopta, 38, of Clymer was charged with driving while intoxicated Monday at 9:25 p.m. on Belknap Road in French Creek. He was held.
COLLINS - Nathan E. Miskell. 18, of Gowanda was charged with fist-degree possession of a forged instrument Monday at 1 p.m. at the Collins barracks after an incident that allegedly occurred on Jan. 19 at 11:45 a.m. He was released to a third party.
Donald R. Chaney, 35, of East 21st Street, Erie, Pa., was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana Monday at 5 p.m. on Lakeshore Drive West in Dunkirk. Officers pulled over the vehicle for an alleged traffic violation near the city line. According to police, when they approached the vehicle a strong odor of marijuana could be smelled. The driver, identified as Chaney, allegedly admitted to having a small amount of marijuana and the vehicle was searched. Police say a cooler container a large bag full of a high quantity of marijuana was found, with a weight of more than two ounces. Several thousands of dollars was also allegedly found. Chaney was taken into custody and held in Dunkirk City Jail in lieu of bail.
