Clymer BOE Schedules Meeting

A regular meeting of the Clymer Central School Board of Education will take place at 4 p.m. Monday in the Clymer High School library.

Parents Network Offers Training

Parent Network of WNY is offering NYS Parent Member Training, a free workshop for families of individuals with disabilities. The workshop will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., March 3 at the James Prendergast Library Association, 509 Cherry St., Jamestown. Library Sets Gardening Class

BUSTI - A class on Natural Gardening, by the Jamestown Audubon Society will be held from 7 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 19, at the Hazeltine Library in Busti. Call the library to register at 716-487-1281. The library is located at 891 Busti-Sugar Grove Road in Busti.

Kennedy Library To Host Story Hour

KENNEDY - The Kennedy Free Library will host its children's story hour from 11 a.m. to noon every Wednesday beginning Feb. 29. Featured will be stories, crafts and snacks. All are welcome to attend.

Pancake Supper Set In Kennedy

KENNEDY - The Kennedy United Methodist Church will hold a pancake supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 21in the church fellowship hall. Supper will include pancakes, sausage, applesauce, ice cream and beverage. The cost is $7 for adults; $3.50 for children; under age 5, free. A pie auction will be held at 5 and also at 6 p.m. All proceeds from the dinner will benefit the new roof fund.

YMCA Slates Babysitting Clinic

The Jamestown YMCA announces an upcoming date for the next YMCA babysitting clinic for boys and girls, ages 11-16. The clinic will be held on Saturday, March 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Jamestown YMCA. The clinic will instruct participants about the responsibilities involved in caring for younger children including child development, safety and emergency response. The clinic is taught by certified teachers who have knowledge in child development, health and overall care of children. Participants should bring a brown bag lunch. Space is limited. Registrations cannot be taken over the phone but can be made at the YMCA Welcome Center before Friday, March 23. SWCS Board To Meet Tuesday

The Southwestern Central School board of education will hold a work session meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the board of education room at the middle school. The purpose of this meeting is to conduct school business.
