William and Lorraine Wiggers of Sherman, N.Y. announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda, to Leigh Laurito, the son of Joseph and Jan Laurito of Fredonia, N.Y. Miss Wiggers is also the granddaughter of Jean K. Hanson, formerly of Sherman, N.Y.
Miss Wiggers attended Sherman Central School and graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She is employed as a teacher by the Fredonia Central School District. Her fiance attended Fredonia Central School and is employed by New York State Department of Corrections.
A summer 2012 wedding is planned.
