The Allen Park Women's Club will meet on Tuesday at 6 p.m. for their annual Founder's Day Dinner at the Marvin House. Karen Johnson will read the history of the founding of the club during World War II in 1942. Sue Schifano is chairwoman, assisted by Carm Cirincione, Providence Caronia and Mary Vizine.
The 2012 membership booklets will be distributed and will include copies of the club's revised by-laws, eliminating the boundary restrictions. A program will follow. Reservations are to be made by today to Sue Schifano.
In January, the club met at the Sheldon House for its member-guest brunch. The following new members were introduced: Roselyn Eggleston, Bonnie Kelly and Joanne Puder.

Newly installed president Virginia Chase presided over the business meeting. Karen Johnson gave the secretary's report and Sally Beckstrom, the treasurer's report. An audit had been conducted of the 2011 financial records by the Auditing Committee, and all records were found to be correct and in order.
Laurie Moore reported on the Bon-Ton Community Day Sale and reported the next sale will be in April. A yard sale at the Camp Street Methodist Church is planned for June 16.
Betty Johnson reported on Christmas cards and poinsettias delivered over the holiday.
