Goshgarian — Westphal

Jennifer Westphal and Mark Goshgarian exchanged wedding vows on July 9, 2011, at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lakewood, N.Y. Monsignor Joseph M. Dowdell performed the ceremony. Music was provided by James Marlinksi and Anne Eklund, vocalists, and Wendy Marlinksi, organist/pianist.

The bride is the daughter of Ken and Michele Westphal of Jamestown, N.Y., and the granddaughter of Jennie Paterniti of Jamestown, N.Y., and the late Joseph Paterniti, and Deanna Westphal Deltona, Fla., formerly of Jamestown, N.Y., and the late Donald Westphal. Her husband is the son of Donna Goshgarian of Danbury, Conn., and Leo and Lisa Goshgarian of El Dorado Hills, Calif.

The bride wore a white, Oleg Cassini wedding gown with a draped satin bodice and a slightly dropped waist. The ball gown features beaded embroidered detail around the waist, with an all-over beaded, lace chapel-length train.

Allie Westphal, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Matron of honor was Shandra Allar. Bridesmaids were Jen Colabatistto, sister of the groom; Kym Paterniti, cousin of the bride; and Joanna Paterniti, cousin of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Emma Goshgarian, daughter of the groom, and Carley Westphal, sister of the bride

Best man was Leo Goshgarian, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Kevin Carroll, John Colabatistto, brother-in-law of the groom; Bob Paterniti, cousin of the bride; and Mark Paterniti, cousin of the bride.

Master and mistress of ceremonies were Mike and Kathy Paterniti, aunt and uncle of the bride, and Dale and Jessica LaChausse.

The bride is a graduate of Jamestown High School and the State University at Fredonia with a bachelor's degree in childhood education and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. She is employed by Jamestown Public Schools as a kindergarten teacher. Her husband is a graduate of Danbury High School and Syracuse University with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism. He is employed by YNN Jamestown as a reporter and part-time as a writer by The Resource Center.

They honeymooned aboard a Royal Caribbean Cruise to the Southern Caribbean islands, including St. Lucia, Barbados, Antigua, St. Martin and St. Croix.

They are living in Jamestown, N.Y.
