The Small Business Development Center at Jamestown Community College will host three free tax seminars starting Friday, Jan. 20.
The seminars are designed for existing and prospective business owners. Each of the hour-long, online seminars is free and accessible from a business owner's home or business computer.
The first session, Top 5 Tax Tips for the Self-Employed, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20. The second session is Preparing an Audit Proof Tax Return at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27. The final webinar, Tips for Saving on Your Taxes, will be offered at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7.
The seminars will cover strategies for avoiding IRS audit problems and adjustments, how to maximize tax savings and keep more money in a business, and key suggestions for anyone new to self-employment.
