Joseph and Janet Rizzo of Jamestown, N.Y., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with trips to California, Oregon and South Dakota. They are the parents of Anne Marie Rizzo and John Upton Rizzo, both of Jamestown, N.Y.
Rizzo and the former Janet Upton were married Dec. 30, 1961, at Ss. Peter and Paul Church. The Rev. Kenneth F. Mullen performed the ceremony.
Rizzo was employed by Jamestown Public Schools as a history teacher, counselor and director of guidance. Mrs. Rizzo was employed as a nurse practitioner by Dr. John Voltmann and as a school nurse practitioner for Jamestown Public Schools.
