The Post-Journal

The Robert H. Jackson Center was the location for the recent luncheon for members and guests of the Jamestown chapter of the Daughters of American Revolution.

The luncheon was organized by Sharon Terwilliger, chapter regent. The blessing prior to the lunch was given by Dawn Durow, immediate past regent. Susan W. Sipos, chapter historian, was presented with a book about Robert H. Jackson. Following the luncheon, a tour was given showing the many rooms of history in the Jackson Center. Jackson's hobbies included outdoor activities of the various seasons.

Any woman interested in becoming a member of the DAR, who is over the age of 18, and can prove linage to a patriot who fought or gave aid to the American Revolution, may call 267-3817 for more information.
