Richard and Azaliene ''Skip'' Lind celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 25, 2011, with a family dinner at LaScala's Resturant. The celebration was hosted by their children: Karen (Phil) Johnson of Jamestown, N.Y., David (Kristine) Lind of Sinclairville, N.Y., and Lori (Todd) Carter of Ellington, N.Y. They also have seven grandchildren: Britta and Erik Johnson , Alex and Brodie Lind, Mitchell and Baileigh Carter, and the late Zachary Lind.
Lind and the former Azaliene Kay ''Skip'' Carlson were married Nov. 25, 1961, in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Jamestown, N.Y. Pastor Wilton Bergstrand performed the ceremony.
Lind is a retired dairy farmer. Mrs. Lind is a homemaker and employed by Jordan Funeral Home. They attend Wayside Chapel in South Stockton.
