Shannon E. Ecklund and Robert J. Lingle announce their engagement.
Miss Ecklund is the daughter of John and Lynne Ecklund of Eden, N.Y., and the granddaughter of Norma J. Ortendahl of Lakewood, N.Y., Robert Ortendahl of Jamestown, N.Y., and the late Richard and Virginia Ecklund. Her fiance is the son of Diane Meslinsky of Orchard Park, N.Y., and Harvey Lingle of Eden, N.Y., and the grandson of Albert Meslinsky of Cheektowaga, N.Y., and the late Rose Marie Jewert and Carl and Bertha Lingle.
Miss Ecklund is a 2004 graduate of Maple Grove Jr./Sr. High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in education from Westminster College. She is employed by Pinnacle Charter School as a seventh-grade math teacher. Her fiance is a 2003 graduate of West Seneca West High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in communications from the State University at Fredonia. He is employed by Follett Higher Education Group.
