Allan and Lorna Myers of Jamestown, N.Y., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 2, 2011, with a family luncheon. The celebration was hosted by their children: Terry (Charity) Myers of Ellicott, N.Y.; Don Myers and Pam Myers, both of Jamestown, N.Y.; and Becky (Doc) Honey of Randolph, N.Y.
They have nine grandchildren: Barry Napier of Everett, Wash.; Macey Myers of Falconer, N.Y.; Bart Napier, Donald Myers and Alex Myers, all of Jamestown, N.Y.; Charleen Myers and Sadie Myers, both of Buffalo, N.Y.; and Keyanna Rosa and Kadan Myers of Ellicott, N.Y. They also have five great-grandchildren: Colten Myers, Katelyn Bemis, Dashel Napier, Avanni Napier and Elizabeth Bemis.
Myers and the former Lorna Lewis were married Sept. 29, 1951, in the Methodist Church in Ashville, N.Y.

Myers is retired from Art Metal and Chautauqua Hardware. Mrs. Myers is retired from the Jamestown School System where she had been employed in the cafeteria. They are former members of the War Vets and the Legion.
