Abigail Elizabeth Ginther and Capt. Christopher J. Kittle exchanged wedding vows on Oct. 9, 2011, at the Savannah Rapids Pavilion, Martinez, Ga. The bride was escorted by her father.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Jeffery and Elizabeth Ginther of Carmel, Ind. Her husband is the son of Gerald and Barbara Kittle of Westfield, N.Y.
Kimberly Wilkinson was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Danielle Cournia and Valerie Ginther, sisters of the bride, Audra Lembke, Elizabeth Griffin, and Lacey Stier.

Best man was Jay Burnett. Groomsmen were Cadet Jeffery Ginther, brother of the bride, Capt. Nikolaus Sifers and Gerald Kittle, father of the groom.
The bride earned her bachelor's degree at Purdue University and her graduate degree at Butler University. She is an emergency room assistant in Augusta, Ga. Her husband earned his bachelor's degree at St. Lawrence University, Canton, N.Y. He is a captain in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Gordon, Augusta, Ga.
