Jim and Sue Caronia announce the engagement of their daughter, Laurie Elizabeth, to Christopher John Geib, the son of Robert and Darcy Geib of North Barrington, Ill. Miss Caronia is the granddaughter of Providence Caronia and the late James Caronia, and Clark and Betty Lord.
Miss Caronia is a graduate of Jamestown High School and Ohio University and is employed as a vice president of PNC Bank in Chicago. Her fiance is a graduate of Barrington High School and the University of Oregon, and is president of Geib Industries in Franklin Park, Ill.
A Dec. 31, 2011, wedding is planned in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
