Jamestown HS?Hosts College Consortium

Jamestown High School student Sabrina Sosa is pictured talking with a representative from Niagara University during the annual Jamestown High School College Consortium, sponsored by the College and Career Center in the school library. The consortium allows students to meet with and learn more about representatives from colleges and what they offer. The list of colleges represented at the consortium included: Alfred State, Alfred University, Bryant & Stratton College, Buffalo State College, Canisius College, Daeman College, D'Youville College, Hilbert College, Medaille College, Niagara University, SUNY Fredonia, Trocaire College, University at Buffalo, Villa Marie College, and the community colleges from Erie, Genesee, and Niagara counties. Throughout the school year, the College and Career Center offers opportunities for student's to visit with colleges. Check out the center's website on jamestownpublicschools.org under the Parents/Students section for a calendar of upcoming college visits, scholarship opportunities, testing and specific information for juniors and seniors.
