Emily VanDette and Timothy Harenda exchanged wedding vows on July 2, 2011, in Circleville, Ohio. The Rev. Michael DiCuirci Sr. performed the ceremony. Music was provided by James Elgersma, pianist; Catherine Carey, soprano; Jessica Kolody and Laura Kellogg, flute; and Larry Holcomb, organ.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Mary Kay VanDette, Laurelville, Ohio. Her husband is the son of Joe and Denise Harenda, Rock Hill, S.C., formerly from Sugar Grove, Pa. He is the grandson of Anthony and Theresa Harenda of Olean, N.Y.; Lucille Kyser of West Clarksville, N.Y.; and Daniel Kyser of Olean, N.Y.
The bride wore a floor length A-line ballgown with sweetheart neckline.

Joanna VanDette, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katherine Love, sister-in-law of the bride, Alyssa Harenda, sister of the groom, Rachel Luther, Jenny Powell, Esther Cody, Lynn Mellum and Sara Elgersma. Flower girl was Jubilee Clarridge, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Joel Moody. Ushers were Ethan and Lee VanDette, brothers of the bride, John Carey, Stephen Barr, Andrew Spink, and Matthew Davis. Ring bearer was Austin Clark.
The bride was a home school graduate in 2005, and graduated from Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio, with a BME in music education in 2009 and from Wright State University in Ohio with an MM in Flute Performance in 2011. She is employed as a choir teacher at Emmanuel Christian School in Toledo, Ohio, and gives private instrument lessons. Her husband graduated from Bethel Baptist Christian Academy in Jamestown in 2005; from Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio, with a BM in music composition in 2009; and from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, with an MM in music composition in 2011. He is employed as an adjunct instructor at Bowling Green State University and director of music and worship at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Toledo, Ohio.
They honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
They are living in Toledo, Ohio.
