Liza Jacobson and Nicholas Babcock exchanged wedding vows on June 18, 2011, at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Dennis Mende performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Brian Bogey, organist; Kate Amatuzzo and John Teresi, vocalists; and Peter Lindblom, trumpeter.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Todd and June Jacobson of Jamestown, N.Y., and the granddaughter of William and June Gullotti. Her husband is the son of Curt and Andi Shierling of Jamestown, N.Y.
The bride wore a strapless Allure Couture ball gown, embellished with lace flower appliques and crystals.

Maria Jacobson, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Britta Johnson, Emily Bracey, cousin of the bride, and Renee Tonkin.
Best man was Joshua Babcock, brother of the groom. Ushers were Adam Babcock, brother of the groom; Ben Bracey, cousin of the bride; and Billy Thomas.
Master and mistress of ceremonies were Dan and Elizabeth Bracey, uncle and aunt of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of the State College at Cortland with a Bachelor of Science in inclusive special education and is pursuing her master's degree in school psychology at Niagara University. Her husband is a graduate of the State College at Cortland with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education and is pursuing his master's degree in special education at Niagara University.
They honeymooned in the Bahamas.
They are living in Lewiston, N.Y.
