Jodie and Les Hutchens of Toano, Va., and Michael and Tracy Yanik of Ashburnham, Mass., announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachelle Lynn Yanik, to Sean Michael Lee Smith, the son of Richard and Ann Smith of Williamsburg, Va. Miss Yanik is also the granddaughter of Dolores Paulson and Howard and Lois Paulson, all of Jamestown, N.Y., and Frank and Sandra Yanik of Busti, N.Y.
Miss Yanik is a 2005 graduate of Jamestown High School and is pursuing a degree in computer networking at ECPI University. Her fiance is a 2003 graduate of Bruton High School, Williamsburg, and earned a criminal justice degree from Thomas Nelson Community College. He is employed by the state of Virginia and also by The Station At Norge, Williamsburg.
A May 5, 2012, wedding is planned in Williamsburg, Va.
