Frank and Jane Pekarski celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 15, 2011. They are the parents of Bruce (Susan) Pekarski of Miramar Beach, Fla., Lucas Pekarski of Washington, D.C., and Michelle Pekarski of Portland, N.Y. They also have five grandchildren: Addyson and Amber Pekarski, and Jacob, Joshua and Jordon Timmerman.
Pekarski and the former Jane Traniello were married July 15, 1961, in St. John's Roman Catholic Church in Jamestown, N.Y. The Rev. Austin Billerio performed the ceremony.
Pekarski is retired from Cummins Engine and is employed by The Resource Center. Mrs. Pekarski is employed by Falconer Vac Shop. They are members of Our Lady of Loreto Church in Falconer, N.Y.
