Richard F. and M. Susan Wright of Jamestown, N.Y., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner on July 2, 2011, at the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club, Lakewood, N.Y. The celebration was hosted by their children: Kevin and Nina Wright of Lancaster, N.Y., and Shawn and Lisa Wright of Jackson, Ky. They also have three grandchildren: Brandon Wright of Lancaster, N.Y., and Josiah and Joanna Wright of Jackson, Ky. Out-of-state guests attended from Kentucky and Pennsylvania,
Wright and the former M. Susan Axelson were married Dec. 10, 1960, in the Fluvanna Community Church, town of Ellicott, N.Y. The Rev. Wayne Hamilton performed the ceremony.
Wright is a retired service investigator from National Fuel Gas. Mrs. Wright is a retired registered surgical nurse from WCA Hospital.
