JPS Board To Meet Tuesday
The Jamestown Public Schools Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the board room at 197 Martin Road. The public is welcome to attend.
Monthly Bag Sale Is This Week
Community Helping Hands will hold its July bag sale from Tuesday through Saturday. All items that can be fit into a bag cost $1. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. Community Helping Hands is located at the Gateway Center, 31 Water St., Jamestown. Ferry Benefit Concert Slated
BEMUS POINT - A benefit concert for the Bemus Point-Stow Ferry will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the floating stage in Bemus Point. The concert is sponsored by DFT, and a table will be set up for donations to the ferry.
Benefit To Be Held Saturday
SINCLAIRVILLE - A benefit will be held Saturday for the family of Stanley Josephson. Josephson died recently in an ATV accident. The benefit will be held from noon to 2 a.m. Saturday at the Witch Kitch in Sinclairville and will include a pig roast, auctions, disco jockey, volleyball and horseshoes. Event To Support Bicentennial
On July 23, there will be a benefit dinner and dance at the Bemus Point Casino to raise money for the Bemus PointStow Ferry Bicentennial Celebration. Music will be provided by Razz & Friends. There will be door prizes, a Chinese auction and other activities. Tickets must be purchased by Saturday, July 16, and are on sale now. Tickets may be purchased at any of the following locations: Hotel Lenhart, Bemus Point Library, North Harmony Town Hall, Chautauqua County Historical Society or by calling Sarah Goebel at 386-5033.
