Marvin and Kathleen Swanson of Frewsburg, N.Y. celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on July 3, 2011. They are the parents of Jason Swanson of Frewsburg, N.Y., and Matthew (Janelle) Swanson of Falconer, N.Y. They also have a grandson, Tyler Swanson of Falconer, N.Y.
Swanson and the former Kathleen Burch were married July 3, 1971, in Frewsburg, N.Y., at the home of her grandparents. The Rev. Viola Burch, grandmother of the bride, performed the ceremony.
Swanson is employed by Dawson Metal in Jamestown, N.Y. They are members of Ivory Baptist Church, Frewsburg, N.Y.
