Mr. and Mrs. Lory Muscarella of 149 Woodworth Ave., Jamestown, N.Y., celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 1, 2011, with a dinner reception at LaScala Restaurant. The celebration was hosted by Dr. and Mrs. Sam Manfrey and their daughter, Olivia. Members from the original wedding party in attendance were maid of honor Caroline (Moon) and Frank Selemme. Out-of- state guests attended from Philadelphia, California, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
Muscarella and the former Angeline Tedesco were married at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church in Silver Creek, N.Y. Msgr. O'Connor performed the ceremony.
Special gifts to the couple included an altar chalice from St. Peter and Paul's Roman Catholic Church and a papal blessing from the Vatican.
