Gustavus Adolphus (GA) Family Services of Jamestown is looking to reconnect with individuals who lived in the Children's Home in past years.

GA Family Services is celebrating 125 years of service to children, youth and families on Aug. 4. During the ceremony, GA Family Services officials will unveil the newest members of the home's Wall of Fame.

"We will be honoring the past, enjoying the present and planning for our future," said Karl Wiggins, GA Family Services vice president. "Former residents and staff are invited to participate in this joyous occasion."

The goal of the project is to reconnect with people who have come through the GA facility and have gone on to lead successful lives despite having endured many hardships in their childhood.

"We are asking former residents to submit a brief biography to us," Wiggins said. "With this information we will be selecting more recipients for our Wall of Fame located in the Learning Center. Inductees will be selected based on life accomplishments, community involvement, and inspiration and hope for the youth we serve today."

GA Family Services is a specialized treatment program for youth and their families who are in need of care. Programming includes; therapeutic foster care, community outreach, a residential program, a learning center, medical and clinical services, supervised independent living and group homes.

For more information or to get a biography questionnaire, visit www.gafamilyservices.org or call the GA Family Services office at 665-2116.
