James and Sally Hutchison of Ashville, N.Y., celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Feb. 13, 2011, and will be taking a family road trip in their RV. They are the parents of Heather Hutchison-Anderson of Ashville, N.Y., Nora (Michael) Ludwig of Mayville, N.Y., and Jaime (Craig) Damon, of West Ellicott, N.Y. They also have six grandchildren: Amber, Charity, Isaac and Eliana Ludwig, and Baker and Willa Anderson.
Hutchison and the former Sally Cole were married Feb.13, 1971, in the Presbyterian Church of Corry, Corry, Pa. The Rev. Leishman performed the ceremony.
Hutchison is retired from the Bostwick-Braun Company as a truck driver. He is a lifetime member of the Big Tree Sportsmans Club, Falconer Rod and Gun, and the National Wild Turkey Association. Mrs. Hutchison is retired from Jamestown Public Schools as a fourth-grade teacher at R.R. Rogers Elementary School. She is a member of Panama Baptist Church, Gaffar Adam's Karate Academy, Harmony Historical Society Quilters Group, Chautauqua County Society of Artists and the Corry Artists Guild.
