Morgan and Michelle Young of Jamestown, N.Y., celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a surprise party on Oct. 23, 2010, at the home of Mrs. Donald Young in Ross Mills. The celebration was hosted by their daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Dan Shanafelt of Red Hill, Pa., and son, Weston Young of Jamestown. They are the grandparents of Bryce Evan and Chase Owen Shanafelt of Red Hill, Pa. Six of the original wedding party members were in attendance.
Young and the former Michelle Church were married on Oct. 12, 1985, at the Methodist church in Gerry, N.Y. The Rev. Raymond McGinnis performed the ceremony.
Young is employed by RHI Monofrax. Mrs. Young is employed by Chautauqua Opportunities.
