Sam and Sarah ''Sally'' Pollino celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 6, 2010, with a family reunion which was hosted by their children, Sam and Terri Pollino of Corona, Calif., and Julie and Joe Indriolo of Jamestown. They also renewed their vows on Sept. 12, 2010, at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Jamestown, N.Y. The Rev. Darrell Duffy performed the ceremony. They also have five grandchildren: Amy, Katie and Lori Indriolo, and Samantha and Nicolas Pollino. Also in attendance were several nieces and nephews.
Pollino and the former Sarah ''Sally'' Bellitto were married Aug. 26, 1950, in St. James Roman Catholic. The Rev. Salvatore Piazza performed the ceremony.
Pollino is retired from MRC/SKF Aeroengine. They are members of St. James Roman Catholic Church in Jamestown. They were presented with a scroll as a lasting remembrance of the 60th anniversary by his Excellency The Most Rev. Edward U. Kmiec DD, Bishop of Buffalo.
