Clayton and Sandra Waddington of Falconer, N.Y., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 4, 2010, at the Falcon's Nest in Falconer, N.Y. The celebration was hosted by their children: Kris and Kendra Waddington, and Cory and Cathy Waddington. They also have eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Out-of-state guests attended from Ohio.
Waddington and the former Sandra Carlson were married June 4, 1960, in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Falconer, N.Y. The Rev. Carlson performed the ceremony.
Waddington is retired from DeBell Vending and the town of Ellicott. He is a life member of the Falconer Fire Department where he served as assistant chief, and is currently a member of the Falconer Fire Department Exempt, a member of the Fluvanna War Vets and Elks Club of Jamestown. Mrs. Waddington is a former member of the Falconer Firemen's Auxiliary where she served as president for several years.
