Dorothy M. “Jerry” Roberson

Dorothy M. "Jerry" Roberson, 75, of 303 W Fifth St., died at 1:18 p.m. Thursday (July 22, 2010) in WCA Hospital.

She was born September 19, 1934, in Buffalo, the daughter of the late Willi-am Bradford and Ber-nadette Clark.

Jerry had been employed at the Marvin Community House, Minute Man Gas Station, Comfort Inn, Jamestown Post Journal, Chautauqua Opportunities, and was a Crossing Guard with the Jamestown Schools.

Jerry's great enjoyments in life were bowling, cross-word puzzles, camping at Hidden Valley, and spend-ing time with her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, nev-er giving up on HER team.

Surviving are a daughter, Robin (Mike) Mullen Sr. of Jamestown; a son, Roylee (Alicia) Roberson of Tuc-son, Ariz.; eight grandchil-dren, Dawn (John) Mullen Pickett of Jamestown; Michael (Kelly) Mullen Jr. of Philadelphia; Alex (De-von) Mullen, Nicole Hitchcock, Brandon Hitchcock, Shauna Hitchcock, all of James-town; Jessica Roberson, and Tyler Roberson both of Tucson; four great-gran-dchildren, McKenzie Pick-ett, Isabel, Matthew, and Cameron Hitchcock all of Jamestown; two brothers, Robert Clark of Montana; James Clark of Buffalo; a sister, Patricia Glow of Buf-falo; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt P. Roberson, whom she married Oct. 3, 1952 and who died March 25, 2009: a son, Roy Rober-son; and a daughter, Rox-anne Hitchcock.

The funeral service will be held at 11a.m. Monday July 26, 2010 in the Lind Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Bjork, officiating.

Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Sa-turday July 24, 2010 and for one hour prior to the service Monday in the fun-eral home.

Memorials may be made to Christ First United Methodist Church, 663 Lakeview Ave, Jamestown, NY 14701.
