Mary C. Karlonis McKee, 50, of 110 W. Third St., Jamestown, died unexpectedly at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday (July 20, 2010) in WCA Hospital.
She was born Sept. 25, 1959, in Landstuhl, Germany, the daughter of the late Paul Joseph and Ila Inez Fuller Karlonis.
For 20 years, Mary worked as a waitress in Greenville, S.C., and for 10 years as a paralegal also in South Carolina. Mary loved spending time with her daughters and grandkids. She also enjoyed reading, cooking, and cake decorating.
Surviving are three daughters: Heather (Jeff) Karlonis Wood of Jamestown, Shannon (Chris) Dow and Crystal Case, both of South Carolina; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Joshua Blake Vaughn.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service on Friday in the funeral home.
