Patricia L. “Patty” Stone

RANDOLPH - Patricia L. "Patty" Stone, 57, of Center Street, Randolph, passed away at 11:50 p.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at home with her children by her side following a three-month battle with cancer.

Patty was born Oct. 19, 1952, in Baltimore, Md., the daughter of the late Peter and Marjorie Marsh Botzenmayer. She was a 1970 graduate of Randolph Central School, and was a child care provider in her home for many years. Patty had attended the St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Little Valley and earlier attended the East Randolph United Methodist Church.

She will be remembered for her caring and compas-sionate spirit and for the love she had for her chil-dren, grandchildren and the hundreds of children she had cared for over the years.

Surviving are a daughter, Jane Pontti of Denver, Colo.; three sons: Chuck Pontti of Lake Worth, Fla. and his twin brother Chris (Jennifer) Pontti of Baton Rouge, La., and Scott (Karen) Pontti of Barnet, Vt.; a brother, Kevin Botzenmayer of Randolph; a sister, Sally Botzenmayer of Randolph; four grand- children: Caleb, Brielle, Reynolds and Grayson Pontti; nieces: Lisa and Darian Botzenmayer; and nephews: Dylan and Dustin Botzenmayer.

A gathering to honor Patty's life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday in the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church St., Randolph.

A private family memori-al service will be held with the Rev. Gerard Sparaco, pastor of St. Michael's Lutheran Church will offi-ciate. To send a condolence log onto www. vanrensse-laerandsonfuneralhome. com. Inurnment will be in the East Randolph Cemetery, along side her late mother Marjorie. Memorials may be sent to the Randolph Rescue Squad; or to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
