Quentin and Carol Peterson of 60 W. Mosher St., Falconer, N.Y., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 7, 2010, with an open house reception at the Sheldon House and a Caribbean cruise. The celebration was hosted by their children: Becky and Sam Teresi of Jamestown, N.Y., and Bruce and Karen Peterson of Mayville, N.Y.; and their grandchildren: Joe and John Teresi, and Bryce Peterson,
Peterson and the former Carol Sage were married April 9, 1960, in First Covenant Church, Jamestown, N.Y. The Rev. Paul Peterson performed the ceremony.
Peterson an U.S. Navy veteran had been employed by Steel Partition and Dowcraft, and was the former owner of P & G Truck Leasing. Mrs. Peterson had been employed as secretary for Falconer Central Schools.
