David and Nancy Snyder of Cassadaga, N.Y., celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on May 8, 2010, with a family dinner at Fireside in Dunkirk. The celebration was hosted by their children, Andy Snyder of Sinclairville, N.Y., and Jason and Michelle Snyder of Cassadaga, N.Y. They also have three grandchildren, Drew and Jayden Snyder and Jared Minekime.
Snyder and the former Nancy Thompson were married May 9, 1970, in Immaculate Conception Church, Cassadaga, N.Y.
Snyder is a retired town of Stockton highway superintendent. Mrs. Snyder is a retired administrative assistant for Cornell Cooperative Extention.
