By Robert Rizzuto rrizzuto@post-journal.com

As of 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jamestown firefighters were still at the scene of a house fire at the corner of Lakeview Avenue and East Sixth Streets dousing the structure with water from all angles.

The fire was first reported around 5:40 p.m., and smoke was visible from as far away as Kiantone. Upon arrival, firefighters called in an additional 21 members of the department, and the Falconer Volunteer Fire Department was called to man Station 1 at City Hall.

No one was reported injured as of this writing and all occupants of the multiple-family dwelling were said to be accounted for.

A full report will be in Wednesday's edition of The Post-Journal.
