Post-Journal

Southwestern Central School senior Zack Sopak, seated center, has decided to continue his academic and football career at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pa. Sopak, the quarterback who led the Trojans to back-to-back state Class C football championships, is joined in the signing ceremony by his family and school officials. Seated next to Sopak is his mother, Paula Morris, and his father, Joel Sopak. Standing, from the left are his step-father Brad Morris, Trojans head football coach Jay Sirianni and Southwestern principal Mike Cipolla. Washington & Jefferson, a traditional Division III power, is coached by Mike Sirianni, a 1990 Southwestern graduate and Jay's older brother.
