CARROLL - A fire that began in an attached garage of a Frew Run Road home Friday morning was put out after firefighters from several volunteer departments responded to the scene.

The blaze was reported just after 11 a.m. and took firefighters more than an hour to get under control.

A man living at the house was taken to WCA Hospital for smoke inhalation and the investigation to determine the cause is ongoing.

A full report will be in Saturday's edition of The Post-Journal.
