Fire Put Out Quickly On Orchard St.

Jamestown firefighters quickly extinguished a fire at 10:28 p.m. Wednesday at 16 Orchard St., a vacant home in the city.

Firefighters put the fire out by shortly before 11 p.m. and investigators were called to the scene by 11:10 p.m.

The fire was discovered by a Jamestown police officer during a routine patrol. No one was inside the home at the time of the fire.
